求解 CE maths past paper 一題的step

1991年 paper 2 Q.36 If p(x^2-x)+q(x^2+x)=4x^2+8x ,find p and q. 答案係C,p=-2,q=6 ,但我唔明個step,網上又搵唔到,所以在此一問. thanks!

p(x2-x)+q(x2+x)=4x2+8x (p+q)x2 + (q-p)x = 4x2+8x compare coefficents of x2 and x terms, q+p=4--(1) q -p=8--(2) (1)+(2), 2q=12 => q=6 put q=6 into (1), gives p= -2 so q=6, p=-2
